How to use CellConnect

1. Sign up by calling 1.818.642.6272 – remember all Direct Dial subscribers automatically have CellConnect included in their service
2. Register up to 4 landline or cell phone numbers on your account
3. Make sure you are calling from your registered number
4. Dial a CellConnect access number (1-800-745-8696 or 1-800-808-8865) from your registered phone
5. Follow the prompts to place your call:
Dial 011 before international calls and 1 before calls to the U.S. and Canada
6. Remember do not press the OK/SEND button after dialing your destination number
7. Enjoy the quality and savings

1. Sign up by calling 1.818.642.6272
2. Make sure you are calling from your registered number
3. If you are calling internationally dial 011 + country code + city code + phone number
4. If you are calling the U.S. or Canada dial 1 + area code + phone number

What services can I do online with My Account?

My Account puts you in charge of your service. Most customer service inquiries can be handled directly by you at My Account. There’s no need to call customer service when you can do the following omline:
- Change personal info, including mailing address
- Update email and change password
- Add or remove subscribed telephone numbers
- View call detail records and service usage
- View invoices
- View payment history and balance information
- Update billing information and credit card information
- Manage speed dial numbers
- View rates
- View country dialing codes

Can I sign up for CellConnect service and receive a paper bill?

Yes you can. CellConnect is an online billed service. If you prefer to receive a paper invoice, you need to sign up for a paper billed plan which has a $2.00 paper billing fee. Contact customer service to update your plan or to sign up for a paper billed CellConnect plan.

Will I receive a separate bill for my CellConnect Service?

If you are a CellConnect customer and NOT a Direct Dial customer then you will receive a new bill for the service. All Direct Dial customers receive CellConnect charges on their Direct Dial bill.

Can I place a call while traveling overseas using CellConnect Service?

Yes you can. With CellConnect you can stay connected even when you are traveling abroad. CellConnect provides toll-free access numbers from over 50 countries worldwide. All you have to do is dial the local toll-free number for the country that you are in and follow the prompts.

Will I be able to use the PIN-less dialing feature when I use my CellConnect account from overseas?

No. The PIN-less dialing feature is only available from the phone numbers you have registered. If you are using CellConnect from your cell phone when you are traveling abroad, your cell phone will be 'International roaming'. When you are on 'International roaming' you will not be able to use the PIN-less feature.

What is the USF Admin Fee?

Universal Service Fund (USF) Fee varies by quarter. The current USF rate which can be found here, is assessed on the Americatel charges, when applicable. It helps provide affordable telecommunications services for low-income customers and customers in rural areas. It also provides discounts on Internet access for eligible schools, libraries and rural health care providers. The USF fee is collected from telecommunications carriers and administered by the Universal Service Administration Corporation. They are responsible for disbursing the funds according to eligibility established by the FCC.
